Here is the sign I wore today…
While displaying it along came a man and wife with their child in a stroller, leaving the daycare center of the synagogue (when I see these tots, I can’t help of think of the thousands of Palestinian tots who have been killed, maimed and starved by Israel). The woman made a point of taking a video of me and I turned to allow her to get the sign on my back. She then told me that they were going to report me.
More Americans with no concept of freedom of speech, eager to shut down a message they don’t like. I told her that many had reported me but that none had prevailed. This prompted shouting and I replied with liberty and justice for all. After crossing the street to leave, her husband was inspired to explode at me. I told him to come back if he had something to say. He did, thinking that I was threatening to assault him and he could not back down. I thought I turned on my GoPro as he returned to stand in front of me shouting inches from my face, daring me to attack him; his idea and mine of what it is to be male quite different.
As always with Zionists, liberty and justice for all had the desired effect and he left, cursing me all the while. I thought I had it all on video only to find out later that I had not pressed the on button hard enough and nothing was captured. It is a shame because it was a perfect example of the hateful verbal attacks I face from time to time, and my response, that everyone should see. There will be another incident, no doubt, and I will try again with the GoPro.
Now along comes an elderly woman with a cane who witnessed the encounter, telling me she hopes for my safety. Then someone passes in a car (not a witness) and shouts, “Thank you. You are making a big difference.” It would be nice if that is true.
Having been threatened with a report to the police, I waited to see how long it would be before the police would arrive. It was about ten minutes until a patrol car pulled into the synagogue parking lot. Per past routine, I expected an officer to come out to see me. It was not to be. After a further 15 minutes, the patrol car left.
I think after 9 months of my presence two things may be happening. First of all, when the police get a call, they likely explain that they know who I am, that I am not doing anything illegal and they cannot tell me to leave. Then they go to the synagogue and say the same thing. There is no need to come out to me because I can’t tell them anything they don’t already know. Another factor is there is a panoramic video camera that has me in view at all times. If I were harassing people, it would be on video.
Provided there is no rain, here is tomorrow’s sign…
Ach, to think just a little more pressure on the "on" button and their arrogance, self-righteousness, and sense of entitlement could have been documented for the history books!
Report you? To whom? For what? To notify there's-gotta-be-some-authority-I-can-complain-to-because-I've-been-made-to-feel-upset? How many kids were killed in Gaza today, did I hear it correctly on CNN that the number was 15? (Maybe I was too upset over the graphic video to pay close attention.)
[Edit entry] Just dawned on me, the local Mossad office, is there a Hillel house at the NU campus there, that's where they are to be found.
"He did, thinking that I was threatening to assault him..."
This reaction from a Zionist is not new, being on hair-trigger alert to make/take matters personal. Fits in with their readiness to engage in the ad hominem attack when faced with an inconvenient truth in response to which they of course have no facts to back up there assertions. It's the inverse of that line from "The Godfather," "It's not personal, Sonny, it's business." Here, since the Zionists can't deal with the "business," the substance of the matter, they resort to the personal. (My take on this: "Yes, I do despise you for what you represent, but don't flatter yourself to think
Isn't it getting to the point where the cops should be bringing YOU a cup of coffee and a doughnut...?
Two war criminals yuk it up at the White House. I nearly up chucked it when they showed Netanyahu just outside temple Pentagon, and the Army or Navy or whatever band started playing the Israeli national anthem. Unfortunately that's an execrable piece of video for posterity to wonder just how out of its mind this country was, assuming their will be posterity to look at such things.
